Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention & Control Policy

The salon is currently open and offering treatments within a Covid-19 Secure environment. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Our priority is to keep you and our employees as safe as possible, and prior to re-opening the salon on the 13th July 2020, Lagoon implemented changes which we would like to make you aware of. During the time the salon was closed for the national Covid-19 lockdown, a full Covid-19 Risk Assessment was undertaken. As a result, Lagoon was given a Covid-19 refit and in addition to the already strict hygiene procedures practiced at the salon before Covid-19, we have made a number of changes to the way that we operate. Our Covid-19 control policy is also frequently reviewed and updated to incorporate the latest government advice.

Air Sanitisers – Kills 99.9999% of Viruses & Bacteria

• Lagoon has invested in a long-term approach to mitigating the risk of Covid-19 and has spent several thousand pounds installing UV air sanitisers.
• Internal air within the salon is passed through dust filters, HEPA filters and UV sterilisation chambers. The technology is proven to kill 99.9999% of viruses and bacteria.
• As Covid-19 is likely to be an issue throughout the autumn, winter and spring of next year; Lagoon’s mitigation strategy for Covid-19 risk is unpinned by sterilising the internal air within the salon. Making the Lagoon a safer environment for our employees and customers.
• The installation of air sanitisation equipment is in additional to all the other Covid-19 measures employed by Lagoon and adds an additional layer of protection.
• Our other Covid-19 measures include: facemasks; social distancing; hand sanitiser; appointment management; PPE; regular surface cleaning; divider screens; increased ventilation and employee training.

Self-Isolation Advice

• Customers - If you have Covid or need to self isolate – please advise us asap and DO NOT COME TO THE SALON FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT.
• Employees - If any of our staff have symptoms of Covid-19, they will self-isolate immediately and not come into the salon.
As usual Lagoon will endeavour to fulfil all customer bookings. However, due to the self-isolation rules this may mean that in exceptional circumstances we have to cancel your appointment at short notice. We appreciate that this may be inconvenient, but it is done entirely for customer safety. If your appointment is cancelled by Lagoon, you will be able to re-book or alternatively request a refund or credit (if you have made a pre-payment for the appointment booking).
